I really want to make you cry.

Beautiful wedding films for Aberdeen and the North-East of Scotland.

Revel and Echo is Craig Parker, a wedding videographer based in Carnoustie and serving Aberdeenshire, Dundee, the North East of Scotland and beyond. Revel and Echo is all about personality-filled wedding films that make you laugh and cry. Craig may slightly exceed his allocation of canapés on the day, but you won’t care, as your wedding film will be an absolute banger.

What makes a great wedding film?

Hi! I’m Craig, your wedding videographer! I’m absolutely obsessed with creating story-driven wedding films that reflect the personalities of the couples, the families and friends involved. Here’s what I think are some of the ingredients of a banging wedding film.

01

It should make you laugh.

Weddings are funny, joy-filled events. The best ones really put across the couples’ personalities. So, to me, a great wedding film should feel the same. I love to create wedding videos where you really get to know the couple by watching.

02

It should make you teary.

Like I said at the outset: I really want to make you cry. Weddings are raw and emotional, and moving. I’m always desperate to distill some of the tension and the raw emotion of the day, and convey that through sound and imagery.

03

It should use the supporting cast well.

Your wedding might well be populated by some of your favourite people on the planet. That’s a lot of firepower - I love to find ways of including them and their personalities and their sense of humour in the edit!

A brief note on music.

I’m a musician and I’ve got decades of experience attending weddings with my band Franco - so music is such a massive part of my approach to editing. Not only should your wedding film be built on top of an epic soundtrack - it should use that soundtrack well. When the music is swelling, so should the images be.

Craig, Is It?

KIND WORDS

“Holy sh!t Craig... what an amazing video you’ve created for us! We watched the masterpiece you sent Lorna yesterday and it blew us away, made us both a bit emotional. Far better than either of us could have hoped or imagined.”
